Training your dog & yourself takes

The rewards are priceless.

My goal is to educate reponsible dog owners
about the neccessity of raising a good canine
citizen & benefits of the camaraderie, keeping
dogs out of shelters & people safe, evoking a
more balanced & compassionate society.

Good Owner Training

I offer private in-home sessions, real-world group classes and also teach at the Hatfield Dog Park.

(Here's a link to the Summer '09 Hatfield Newsletter with more info about the class, Register for a class online
& dog park rules.)

I'm certified in Pet First Aid , a member of APDT, Dog Scouts Troop Leader. I also volunteer, liasion, build and maintain websites for several rescues and shelters.

I believe in positive reinforcement, NILIF, Operant and Classical conditioning (Here's another NILIF link...)

I've practiced agility, flyball, freestyle, obedience, rally-o, and behavior modification with my aussie Sophie, my foster
Moose and work with as many other trainers as possible. (I have someone to recommend for just about
anything in the area - just ask).

* Discounted training assistance for new rescue adoptions. *

Please adopt from a shelter or rescue. I'll be happy to help you choose the right dog for your family.

Here's a video for all the mistreated dogs who can teach us so much
about living in the moment, forgiveness, patience and just not sweating the small stuff!

it's the only thing that ever has".   -Margaret Mead"
